Grants
The Pink Shamrock donates all profits, after taxes, from the sale of Pink Shamrock goods and donations to charitable purposes to offer hope and grace to those in need with breast cancer. Grants are awarded annually to a wide range of organizations. Eligible organizations include any tax-exempt organization that supports underserved women with breast cancer. Currently, the Pink Shamrock Foundation is accepting proposals from the states of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana. Proposals will be received from September 1st to October 1st. Grants are awarded by October 31st.
Grant Guidelines:
Thank you for taking the time to care enough to fill out this application, we have tried to make it as painless as possible. Here is a list of the requirements. If you have any problems, please call us.
Please include the following information:
- Organization Information: Name, address, contact person, title, mission statement of organization, and phone number.
- Grant Request: Amount of Grant, project name and description, and the project budget. Grant request should be no longer than one typed, double spaced page.
- Attachments: Copy of your most recent IRS tax-exempt certification and audited financial statement.
Please note:
- Only those organizations awarded a grant are notified.
- All materials submitted, are not returned.
- Proposals should be sent via US Mail.
- Faxed or email proposals are not accepted.
Follow Up Letter:
After the grant money has been used the agency is required to write a follow-up letter explaining the use of funds and how many people they were able to help. We require a letter at the end of the grant year with an explanation of how the funds were used.
