  • Providence Cancer Center: $1,000
    We supplied pain medications for those who could not afford them while waiting for medicade.

  • Visiting Nurses Association: $1,000 - We funded several nurses to vist the homes of women who needed home assistance who do not have the means or health insurance to pay for it.

  • Cancer Patient Care: $1,000
    We assisted with expensive prescriptions, counseling, nutritional supplements, and emergency financial assistance.

  • Native Project: $1,000
    We assisted in the care of Native Americans struggling with breast cancer.

  • Hospice of Spokane: $1,000 — We provided 14 days of care for terminally ill women with breast cancer who did not have insurance.

  • Toni Maries at Sacred Heart: $1,000
    We provided funding for wigs, hats, and other self —esteem products for medically underserved patients.

  • Community Health of Spokane: $1,000
    We assisted in transportation and prescriptions for their breast cancer patients.

2004: $6,800

  • Individual Assistance: $500
    We supplied an emergency grant to an individual who needed assistance in her recovery with a medical procedure.

  • Providence Cancer Center: $1,000
    We supplied pain medications for those who could not afford them while waiting for medi-cade. Another woman received a wig that she could not afford.

  • Visiting Nurses Association: $1,000
    We funded several nurses to vist the homes of women who needed home assistance who do not have the means or health insurance to pay for it.

  • Cancer Patient Care: $1,000
    We assisted with expensive prescriptions, counseling, nutritional supplements, and emergency financial assistance.

  • Peoples Clinic: $1,300
    We provided check-ups for six medically underserved women with breast cancer.

  • Hospice of Spokane: $1000 - We provided 14 days of care for terminally ill women with breast cancer who did not have insurance.

  • Positive Image Center at Sacred Heart: $1,000. We supplied wigs, hats, and self esteem products for several women using the Positive Image Center.

2003: $5,000

  • Visiting Nurses Association: $500
    We funded several nurses to vist the homes of women who needed home assistance who do not have the means or health insurance to pay for it.

  • Native Health: $500
    We assisted in the treatment of Native Americans struggling with breast cancer.

  • Hospice of Spokane: $1,000
    We provided seven days of care for terminally ill women with breast cancer who did not have insurance.

  • Cancer Patient Care: $1,000
    We provided wigs, prescription care, food supplements, emergency financial assistance, prostheses and transportation to medical appointments.

  • Spokane Regional Health District: $1,000
    We funded transportation for medically underserved people for treatment.

  • Providence Cancer Center: $1,000
    We provided assistance to patients with bus passes, motel stays during treatment, and airfare for a client who could not afford to get to treatment without it.
